to Roasting Drum
Lionrush was founded by Martin, a biochemist with a passion for precision and for coffee that actually makes you feel something.
Originally from Argentina, Martin came to the U.S. at 18 to dive deep into the sciences. After many years working with DNA in human genomics research, something shifted. In 2020, fueled by curiosity (and a ridiculous amount of caffeine), he built Lionrush from the ground up—roasting in small batches, sourcing exceptional beans, and developing functional blends designed to fuel clarity, focus, and performance.
The problem we solve
The problem isn't the cup. It's the noise around it.
Horns. Lights. Smoke. Run. Brake. Stop. Breathe. Hold your breath and dive back into the chaos. Then do it all again. We live in a fast world, crowded with distractions and ornaments. Coffee, which was always a simple everyday ritual, got caught in that same vortex: complicated names and aesthetic obsessions that too often forget what matters most.
But in the end, what we are looking for is always the same: a sip that wakes us up, an aroma that holds us, and a moment that brings us back to the present.
We leave the obsession with what is viral and aesthetic behind so we can return to what is essential. It does not matter whether you are at home, at work, or on the road. What matters is simply that it be with coffee as it was never meant to stop being.
The problem is not what your coffee is called. The problem is that we forgot what coffee really means.
